Professional 24-Hour ER Care
Did you know that just because you go to urgent care or the hospital-based emergency room you might not be seen by a physician? Depending on the facility you go to, the state might not require a physician to be on-site.
Licensed freestanding emergency rooms require that board-certified physicians be on-site and treating patients 24/7/365. At ER of Texas Emergency Care Center we take that a step further and require that our physicians also be board certified or eligible in emergency care. This means their focus and training is specifically on emergency medicine.
State Licensed Free-Standing Emergency Room
ER of Texas Emergency Rooms are licensed by the state of Texas. That means that we adhere to the strictest standards in emergency medical care. Why does this matter to you? Because not all free-standing facilities have this requirement.
Urgent care facilities do not have state requirements. Hospital-based facilities follow the same rules as the hospital they are affiliated with. While these are very strict, the satellite clinic may not have the same physicians and equipment at their specific location BECAUSE their hospital affiliate has them on the main campus.
Going to a state-licensed free-standing emergency room like ER of Texas Emergency Care Center gives you peace of mind in knowing that you’ll receive the highest level of care in the most up-to-date facilities.
